About Marshalls

We are approaching the 200th anniversary of the firm, having been located in the same building in the High Street in Godalming, Surrey, since day one.

Established in 1831 by Henry Marshall, the first mayor of Godalming, we have continued to thrive, our work mainly coming through personal recommendation from our loyal client base as well as professional referrals and internet enquiries. We take pride in giving a first class personal service, with excellent lines of communication between our departments, bringing together all areas of knowledge when required.

We have been members of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) since its inception, being one of the first solicitors’ firms in Surrey to meet their criteria.
